information to the right place instantly. The Job Reporter eliminates the need for jobseekers
and hiring technology company to spend valuable time "searching" for results. In addition, we
do not allow headhunters or third party recruiting agencies to post jobs on this website.
Our mission is to connect the job seeker with the hiring company easily and cost effectively.
By lowering the time and cost per hire for the company our system benefits the entire industry.
2) Does The Job Reporter charge a fee to use its website?
Job seekers DO NOT pay a fee to manage their career at The Job Reporter. Job seekers may use
The Job Reporter website free of charge to find jobs, news, tips, and resources regarding their
industry. However, hiring companies do pay a fee to post jobs and receive our services.
3) How do I find the job(s) I am qualified for on The Job Reporter website and apply to the ones
that interest me?
Easy, click on your industry and the job category(s) you are interested in. Then build your skills
profile(s) in order to become active to the hiring managers requesting your skills and experience.
As a job seeker you no longer have to sift through mountians of job postings or apply one by one to
jobs that match your skills. The Job Reporter automatically delivers your information in real time
directly to each hiring manager as long as your profile is set on "active". As soon as you land your
new job simply "de-activate" your status until the next time you are ready to advance your career.
You are allowed to build up to 5 different profiles (job categories) per industry and have them all
working simultaneously and continuously until you land your preferred opportunity! If you are
interested in both biotechnology and semiconductors then you will need to create an account for
each industry.
4) How do I apply for a position/company I am qualified for and interested in pursuing employment with?
Easy, The Job Reporter encourages qualified candidates to apply directly to companies on their own
corporate websites or submit your resume/information on The Job Reporter website. As soon as you
build your profile and submit your resume to The Job Reporter our system continuously works on your
behalf based on your skills and proficiencies; automatically delivering the critical information needed
for hiring managers to make their important hiring decisions. In addition, The Job Reporter will not
use or sell your information to any other third parties. We allow confirmed industry players only to
participate in our job posting program.
5) Can I find headhunters, staffing agencies, or recruiting firms on The Job Reporter website?
No, third parties are not allowed to post jobs on The Job Reporter website. This website is designed
to facilitate the meeting and exchange of information between principles only. Our mission is to
streamline the recruiting process for both candidates and hiring companies, ultimately lowering the
cost per hire for the company and providing a better opportunity for candidates to potentially receive
an offer by eliminating expensive recruiting fees.
6) What happens to my resume and personal information when I submit it to The Job Reporter?
The Job Reporter stores resumes in a proprietary database searchable by our in house staff only.
Each hiring company posting jobs on The Job Reporter site receives qualified profiles and resumes
based on their hiring criteria. Both job seekers and hiring companies fill out the relevant
job title/skills profile forms which are then matched against eachother, given a score, and then
all relevant information is delivered to its destination. Third parties are not allowed access
to any of your information, nor do we sell, distribute, or allow viewing of your information to
anyone other than a confirmed company in a specific industry hiring for your specific and/or relevant
position in which you have built a profile for (note: you are allowed 5 different job title/skills
profiles per industry). You may access, update, or delete your information entirely from The Job
Reporter and its database(s) by accessing and managing your personal account.
